Role Purpose/Mission

• Perform all the technical tasks required to plan and complete the Mechanical Engineering design phase of a project, mainly consisting in: General Arrangement, 3D modeling, piping layout, baseplate etc., along with related design, verification or study activities

• Interface with other Project Specialists, Designers and Draftsmen

• Support Project Management and other company’s functions for all the activities under his own responsibility

Essential Tasks/Responsibilities

• Review Client technical documentation and requirements

• Generate Projects General arrangement (skid or package with all main components) using 3D modeling tools, identifying the best configuration in terms of dimensions, accessibility, maintenance, costs etc.

• Understand installation and operation requirements of main equipment and components and reflect them in the General Arrangement

• Design piping system from P&ID: perform 3D piping layout and generate lines specifications

• Generate baseplate 3D models and construction drawings

• Define or collect all inputs (static loads with CoG, dynamic loads etc.) necessary to perform baseplate stress analysis and to generate foundation loads. Perform calculations or interact with design specialist to complete such tasks.

• Engineering technical diploma or Bachelor

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar position

Professional skills summary

3D CAD Design: Proficient in the use of UG as 3D modeling tool. Knowledge of other 3D modeling tool such as PDS, PDMS, Smartplant3D, E3D.

Mechanical Design & Drafting: Solid knowledge of mechanical design principles and drafting rules.

Engineering activity planning:Capability to plan and discipline engineering activities and documentation deliverables, in order to meet Project scheduled milestones and budget.

Engineering design and document review and developmentKnowledge of the design criteria, methods and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase. Capability of develop all required documents and drawings.

Engineering standard codes and regulations: Knowledge of main international Discipline standards, codes and regulations (piping and structures). Capability to analyze dedicated Project requirements in terms of local standards and codes and to identify proper implementation actions.

Engineering Subcontractor management and controlCapability to handle subcontracted engineering work packages defining the scope of work, the milestones and documentation deliverables. Capability to control the quality, the costs and the timing of the subcontracted activities ensuring the compliance with project scheduling and goals and with contract requirements.

Knowledge of basic equipment designAbility to understand and/or perform piping pressure loss calculation, understanding of structures and pressure vessels stress analysis, understand selection criteria for other equipment such pumps, coolers etc.

Technical software tools and information systems supporting business processes: Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

Role Purpose/Mission

• Be the technical owner of the product (vertical reciprocating compressors) being responsible of all the engineering activities related to it: application engineering, requisition and aftermarket

• Own product configuration: Bill of materials and product building blocks update and standardization

• Be the product focal point internally and towards Customers

Essential Tasks/Responsibilities

• Support Commercial bid process: utilize selection tools to define product configuration, technically support offer generation (customer requests, comments and exceptions to international standards etc.)

Requisition Engineering: Validate Flange-to-Flange BoM completion, lead design engineering activities and deliverables related to the reciprocating compressors (job-by-job customization, automatic valves selection, cylinder clearance definition etc.)
• Perform or coordinate the execution of design calculations in case of need (i.e.: torsional analyses, acoustic analyses) providing the right inputs S

• Support Manufacturing for non-conformity disposition and for factory tests (either mechanical or full load)

• Support Installation and Commissioning for customer claims and site issues

• Drive product standardization: archive and consolidate BoMs for crankcases, cylinders and main components types and configurations, apply lessons learnt, update drawings when required, drive small modifications that can lead to production improvements and cost reduction.

• Keep updated product manual, comment and exceptions to international standards (i.e.: API618) product presentations, brochures etc.

• Master degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering

Professional skills summary

Rotating Equipment: Knowledge on rotating equipment (compressors, turbines etc.) principles of operation.

Thermodynamics and Fluid dynamics:

Capability to understand thermodynamic principles (instrumental for machine selection), knowledge of fluid dynamics (valves selection, pressure losses).

RotordynamicsCapability to understand rotordynamics principles, instrumental for torsional and lateral analyses.

Noise and Acoustics: Capability to understand noise, pulsation and acoustics principles.

Mechanical Design & Drafting: Capability to understand mechanical design principles and drafting rules.

Materials science and manufacturing processes: Understanding of material properties and applications, knowledge of manufacturing processes like casting, forging, fabrication etc.

Engineering standard codes and regulationsUnderstanding of main international Discipline standards, codes and regulations, especially API618.

Technical software tools and information systems supporting business processes: Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Professional knowledge of Autocad 2D, familiarity with 3D modeling tools

Role Purpose/Mission

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to be responsible for the process design of
industrial process for chemical and petrochemical industries.
Main Activities:
– Preparation of process documentation (heat & material balances, datasheets, PFD, P&ID)
– P&ID drawing
– Process Simulation
– Heat Exchanger Design with (EDR or Equivalent)

Qualifications/Requirements:

– At least 8-10 of work experience in process engineering
– Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering
– General knowledge of Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical processes
– Knowledge on basic equipment design (Columns, Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Machinery)
– Knowledge of process design standards and common practice
– Experience in use of Aspen Hysys
– AutoCAD skills

Role Purpose/Mission

We are looking for an Electrical Project Specialist Leader to be responsible for the:

  • Preparation of the documentation of design (general specifications, lists, etc.)
  • Design and modification engineering on low and medium voltage electrical equipment and networks, cable sizing, calculation of voltage drops, short-circuit currents, protections
  • Preparation of detailed documentation ( datasheets) for the installation and purchase of materials and components

In addition to the knowledge of basic and detailed design in the industrial plant:

  • Critical analysis and definition of the technical requirements / contents of the project
  •  evaluation of the timing of the design and of the resources necessary to carry out the project
  •  control and validation of the documents and their congruence with the documents of the other disciplines
  •  carrying out inspections / surveys on the plants
  •  technical interfacing with the Client’s managers and with the PM  designated for the project

·        studiare e sviluppare il modello di calcolo (con impiego di diversi SW FEM)

·        preparare il report di calcolo

·        Esempi di sistemi tipici: strutture in carpenteria per impianti, basamenti, moduli, rack, tubazioni, recipienti in pressione, componenti speciali non standard.

 

Oltre alle nozioni principali riguardanti la progettazione di base e di dettaglio nel settore impiantistico industriale, si richiede esperienza e/o attitudine per quanto concerne:

·        Analisi critica e definizione dei requisiti/contenuti tecnici del progetto (limitatamente alla disciplina meccanica strutturale)

·        Capacità di valutazione delle tempistiche della progettazione richiesta/assegnata

·        Controllo e validazione degli elaborati di progetto che vengono prodotti (limitatamente alla disciplina meccanica strutturale) e loro congruenza con gli elaborati delle altre discipline

·        esecuzione di sopralluoghi/rilievi sugli impianti

·        interfacciamento tecnico con i responsabili del Cliente e con il PEM designato per il progetto
